Top Venture Capital-Backed Sports Games Publisher Announces Chief Marketing Officer, Vice President of Production and Operations and Vice President of Engineering
Lafayette, CA – July 8, 2021 – Nifty Games Inc., a developer and publisher focused on quick-session, head-to-head sports games for mobile, today announced the appointment of several key games industry veterans to its executive team as the company readies for the upcoming U.S. launch of its premier game, NFL Clash. Jason Covey has come on board as chief marketing officer. In addition, Dan Wasson has been promoted to vice president of production and operations, and Ibs Rageh to vice president of engineering.

- Jason Covey, Chief Marketing Officer: Jason is charged with leading all company marketing initiatives, as well as spearheading partner relations and business development. A recognized, award-winning leader in the games industry, Jason is bringing years of experience building powerhouse creative teams for iconic brands to Nifty Games. Prior roles include leading efforts to build Fox Interactive Media as a premier publisher of mobile content for brands such as Fox Sports and IGN, and leading THQ Inc.’s mobile marketing team, where his team established mobile game presence for the NHL, MLB, NBA, and the NFL.
- Dan Wasson, Vice President of Production and Operations: Dan will lead all day-to-day production, operations and publishing functions, and their future scaling as Nifty Games grows. To the company, he brings more than 25 years of experience, including previously serving as head of publishing production at Wargaming America, in addition to holding senior production roles Kabam, Highway 1 Productions, LucasArts Entertainment Company LLC, Konami Digital Entertainment Co., Ltd. and Electronic Arts Inc.
- Ibs Rageh, Vice President of Engineering: Ibs oversees all development and infrastructure, leading teams of engineers, producers, designers and artists to create and operate amazing gaming experiences for sports fans on mobile. To the company, he brings more than 18 years of deep engineering experience for major video game brands, including Page 44 Studios, Zynga Inc., WB Games and Electronic Arts Inc.
